Aims:

The main aim of the "Save Pulicat" mission is to persuade the promoters (stakeholders) of mega industries to arrest further degradation of the Pulicat lake through responsible and benevolent system of effluent disposal, eco-restora ion and environmen tal protection. The second goal is to create a praxis through meaningful dialogue and persuade and motivate the local community to manage their environmental resources thorough their own system of project management.
Objectives:

• Rehabilitate the Pulicat Lake's grove, canal and marine ecologies.
• Raise public awareness
• Empower the local community to manage the coastal environmental resources.
• Harness the support of various sectors such as industry, Government and voluntary agencies to promote and sustain developement projects for livelihood.
